What the transcript cleaner does
The cleaner is not a downloader and does not fetch private videos. It processes text you already have permission to use, removing subtitle numbering, timecodes, duplicate lines and excess spaces before grouping sentences.
Why a clean transcript may look unchanged
If you paste ordinary, already-readable text, the safest result is the original text. The tool will not rewrite meaning just to create a visible difference; it reports that no formatting needed cleaning.
From transcript to content plan
Use cleaned text for a summary, research notes, questions or an outline. Do not lightly rewrite another creator's transcript and publish it as your own; permission and original value still matter.
